Description: The TSL2561 Light Sensor Breakout is a sophisticated light sensor that has a flat response across the entire visible spectrum. Unlike simpler sensors, the TSL2561 measures both infrared and visible light to better match the human eye's response. And because the TSL2561 is an integrated sensor (it absorbs light for a predetermined amount of time), it can measure both small and large amounts of light by varying the integration time.

The TSL2561 has direct I2C communication capability and can easily handle a specific light range from 0.1 - 40K+ Lux. The TSL12561 also has an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that combines the current from two photodiodes simultaneously. Each breakout requires a 3V supply voltage and a maximum low supply current of 0.6mA
